Constructing Power
Editorial Design, Extensive Research

Constructing Power is an extensive research project discussing the power of architecture. Architecture is intricately tied to political power. It provides a model for the system of structural thought used by a society to conceptualize the world. For the narrative of the whole story, I included the curated content in a book and expanded it to the spatial experience of installation art – Visibility is A Trap (click to see more).

Placebo is a brand established in 2020 by a group of young people living in sunny Los Angeles. At the beginning of the brand establishment, we reached cooperation. The entire cooperation process includes brand positioning, brand system design, display typeface design, packaging design, navigation system design, and clothing pattern design.

Super Pop Stars
Exhibition Design, Editorial Design, Visual Identity, Motion Graphic, Mediatexture

Pop was not a movement, not a style, but an ethos, one that permeated artists' consciousness worldwide during a time of unprecedented social and cultural change.

Super Pop Star is an editorial design project associated with a fictional exhibition. This exhibition embraces artists' unique perspectives and geographic contexts situated in the burgeoning new consumer and industrialized societies from the 1950s to the present day. It is about iconography, which helps us question, assume, and understand these pop icons, then finally touch on society's identity during that era.

Sternberg Press
Branding, Visual Identity

A new visual identity system for a publisher based in Berlin and New York, Sternberg Press, plays to the dynamic visual language derived from the communication between the digital and the analog. This celebrates creative publishing at its best, based on meticulous editorial decisions and distinctive design. The visual identity aims to serve, creating a sense of critique, dialogue, and discourse sensitivity.
